And Now, We Press Forward…
To quote from the booklet prepared for our Fiftieth Anniversary in 1940:
Those who organized the church had vision. There has been a continuous and steady growth and an ever-increasing influence at home and abroad. We are proud of our Church, its history, its achievements, its present standing and spirit. We who are now its members, are challenged and inspired to yet deeper loyalty and sacrificial devotion, to make this Church all that, under God’s guidance and in realization of His purpose, it should be.
The end of the pandemic brought renewed energy to make FPCLG all that it “should and can be.” Our doors are wide open to provide the spiritual guidance and fellowship to all who enter where “people have an experience they can’t live without.”
