Partnership with Living Waters for the World
First Presbyterian Church of La Grange currently has covenants with six partner communities in El Salvador. We have been supporting El Espino with upgrades that allow their water team to produce much more clean water that the community desperately needs. We sent a team to El Paraíso in 2022, to San Cristóbal in 2023, to San Rafael Cedros in 2024 and to Mercedes Umaña in 2025 to aid in the construction of water purification systems with accompanying public health education for their communities. Our team will travel to Potrero Grande, El Salvador, this summer. Contact the Church Office at admin@fpclg.org to find out how to get involved!
